Based in Köln, Germany, Heartstrings consists of classically trained cellist/singer Valerie Rathmann and English guitarist/singer Rupert Gillett. Between them, they have performed with stars including Mel C, Rea Garvey, Sarah Brightman, Alison Moyet and Shara Nelson. As professional musicians in their own right, they have performed to such luminaries as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Jude Law, Orlando Bloom and the late Prince Philip.
